Winter Solstice—the Portal to Stillness

Jude Ponton, DC, LAcSenior Acutonics Instructor & Practitioner

With the turning of the wheel we approach the Winter Solstice, a time when energy reverts deeply to the root. This marks a time of great stillness, nurturance and stoking of the yin fire, consolidation of energy, pulling in and grounding to the earth.

The day of Winter Solstice is the day of shortest light, the pivot point when the zenith of yin shifts to the reawakening of yang. This is the time for concentrating reserves of yin energy that nourish the seeds of who we are becoming. Winter, is the time of  the water element. The spirit of the Kidney and the water  element is the Zhi that reside in the most hidden parts of our body. The Zhi spirits connect us to the collective unconscious, where we are aware of our infinite nature. The Zhi is the yin fire, the embers that ignite the spark of connection to our destiny. The yin fire ignites our will to overcome obstacles and manifest our destiny. The Zhi dwell in the dimension known in Vedic philosophy as Karma, the unconscious forces and collective energies that influence the course of our lives.

The Yellow Emperor is quoted as saying “At this time you must not disturb or displace the yang energy so that you can allow the yin reserves to be established within you.”

We have an opportunity to realign with our divine spark, our destiny, a portal to new potential. If we use our opportunity to nurture this spark it can enlighten our understanding of what no longer serves us and what contains the matrix of new possibilities. This time of stillness can be a powerful time of allowing our reconnection to and truest expression of Source. This is of extraordinary importance in the chaotic times we have been navigating. It allows the anchoring of our breath and alignment with our center.

The Acutonics frequencies of Pluto, Chiron, Nibiru and Sedna are especially useful for connection to and sustenance of the Zhi. Pluto allows access to the deep realms that are the residence of the Zhi spirits. Chiron provides healing energy and a bridge to new connections to our destiny and Nibiru creates the matrix for expression of that destiny.  Sedna connects to unity and non-duality and the infinite potential of the Unified Field. The new addition to our Acutonics frequencies, Hygeia, provides energy of multidimensional integration when combined with other forks.

These frequencies could be appropriately applied to the Chong EV, because as the first vessel to emerge from Source it manifests our individual expression of the Field. The Ren and Du Vessels are the deepest Yin and Yang potentials and strongly connected to the energy of the Kidney organ and so are also good choices for enhancing the potential of the Zhi spirits. Points that build and support the energy of the Kidney like UB 23, UB 52, KID 3, KID 6, REN 4, REN 6 are also appropriate.

We are living in a time that challenges us to remember and reconnect with our Zhi, our destiny as individuals and as expressions of the One. Sounding high frequency forks or chimes or gongs would help to saturate the Unified field with these planetary harmonics and to enhance connection and nonduality and the stillness that underlies alll action.
