Acutonics® Hand Chimes

What is a Hand Chime?

Hand chimes are tubular sound tools that produce a precise musical tone when struck. They are used to play melodies, harmonies, and rhythmic patterns, often in conjunction with handbells, singing bowls, tuning forks, and human voice.

Hand chimes are traditionally used in musical ensembles and ceremonies. Acutonics extends their use into precise therapeutic and ecological applications - applying Planetary Hand Chimes above and around the body, and beyond and into the environment.

What are Acutonics Planetary Hand Chimes?

Acutonics Planetary Hand Chimes are calibrated and color-coded to the energetic frequencies of the planets and asteroids in our solar system, and are used to tune-up our energetic systems to the archetypes of our universe.

Where singing bowls offer a rich, textured, multiplicity of tones – hand chimes offer precision calibrated singular tones, used for generating specific Acutonics treatment protocols based on planetary archetypes.

Precision Is Paramount

Acutonics Planetary Hand Chimes are manufactured with very high precision and accuracy in tone in order to achieve the desired musical planetary intervallic relationship (musical 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.) with other chimes in the series.

Thoughtfully Produced

Hand Chime quality is dependent on the metal and paint used in the manufacturing process. Less expensive metal alloys and crude paint materials lead to less accuracy in the tone of the fork, leaching into the body, and pollution. Low grade chimes should not be used for health and wellness applications.

Acutonics Planetary Hand Chimes are manufactured with the finest corrosion and rust resistant aerospace-grade, non-magnetic aluminum alloy, with an electrostatic paint application. They are non-tarnishing, and will perform flawlessly for a lifetime. Acutonics hand chimes are manufactured in the United States and have the highest degree of accuracy, durability, and beauty.

Planetary Hand Chime Anatomy

Each hand chime consists of an aluminum tube body, used as a handle, and linear cutouts at the base of the chime, called the slots. The wings of the tube left after the slots are bored out are called the chime tines. The pitch of the chime is determined by the size of the tube and the slot that is cut out.

Each Acutonics Planetary Hand Chime comes with bored holes at the top of the chime tube for stringing and hanging the chime if desired.
