What Is A Tuning Fork?

A tuning fork is a two-pronged acoustic resonator. When it is struck, it vibrates and emits a pure musical tone at a constant musical pitch. Tuning forks are traditionally used for tuning musical instruments, and the Acutonics system extends them to the body as a musical instrument. Quality, accuracy, and durability are the hallmarks of our tuning forks.

When tuning forks are struck together, the different tones interact. Low grade forks should not be used for health and wellness applications.
