Acutonics Institute of Integrative Medicine

Becoming a Practitioner

Our in-depth curriculum in the therapeutic use of sound vibration integrates beautifully into all types of clinical practice. Our students include physicians, nurses, acupuncturists, massage and bodywork practitioner, chiropractors, psychologists, physical therapists and many other health care providers seeking effective, researched approaches to wellness that support their clients.

The curriculum is designed to build knowledge, skill and understanding of the practical applications of sound-based therapeutics grounded in East Asian medicine, psychology, science, and music theory. From the very first class, you will learn practical skills in the use of sound tools including tuning forks, hand chimes and Tibetan bowls. You will learn about the Eight Extraordinary Meridians, the qualities of acupuncture points and the appropriate sound tools to integrate into a session. As you progress through training you will gain a deeper understanding of researched techniques. Each course builds on prior knowledge and includes extensive hands on practicum in the therapeutic use of sound vibration on and over acupuncture points, trigger points and points of pain.

Additionally, we focus on practitioner self-care so that you will learn strategies for your own well-being that you will also be able to share with your clients.

Although you will learn practical skills that can be integrated into clinical practice immediately, becoming a Certified Acutonics® Practitioner allows you to proudly display the mark of certification and be listed on our Practitioner page. Clients seeking Acutonics as a healing modality can be assured you have achieved the highest level of qualification and competency.

The Acutonics Certification program is taught throughout the world by dedicated faculty who have completed extensive training and have years of clinical and teaching experience.
