Living in Heart Space

Summer is the time of the Fire Element and of the Heart, associated with love, compassion, gratitude, caring, nurturance, joy, appreciation, kindness, and selflessness.

In both Vedic and Hebrew sacred texts there are references to a unique sacred space within the heart. A point that gives rise to the entire universe and radiates outwardly. The central point is called Shiva, a non-moving male force. The radiations outward is Shakti and contain potential for all creation. Rudolph Steiner also described a point at the heart center from which the universe arises as a frequency waveform that vibrates out in countless times per second. Steiner believed that the whole universe was contained in those radiations from our heart. The heart has the largest and strongest electromagnetic field in the body. Measured by sensitive instruments that indicate the heart field extends outward from the body for as much as fifteen feet. There is speculation that the field may be wider, but it is difficult to measure with present instrumentation. This would mean that not only does the heart’s electromagnetic field extend into our subtle fields, but it also permeates all of our physical form and very likely connects to the heart fields of others.

The heart field shows up in measurements as generating an inner tube or donut-like shape referred to as a torus. This shape governs many aspects of life including the human heart. The torus is literally around all life forms, atoms, and cosmic bodies such as planets, stars and galaxies. It is the primary shape in existence considered to be unique, stable and very primal. The heart is thought to contain a smaller version of this shape inside of the outer shape and oriented to the same axis. All of these torus energy radiations communicate with one another. Our heart torus communicates out to connect with the torus of the Earth and outward to connect with the Sun’s torus which produces countless other torus shapes that radiate out and embrace the whole solar system. The more coherent the heart field is the more easily it merges with the radiating fields of the Earth, Sun and solar system.

The newly developing field of neurocardiology views the heart as a sophisticated sensory organ that receives and processes information. References to this “brain of the heart” function are beginning to be found in modern medical research literature that attributes mental functions related to learning and memory to the heart. This is very similar to the functions attributed to the heart in Traditional Chinese medicine. Modern Western experimental research demonstrates that the heart continuously sends signals to the brain related to higher brain functions involved in the processing of perception, thinking and emotions.

Besides normal perceptual functions there is new evidence that relates the heart’s field directly to intuition because of its ability to interact with information fields outside the parameters of space and time such as the Akashic field. Experimentation has shown that the heart and brain receive and respond to information about a future event before the event actually happens and that the heart appears to receive this precognitive information prior to the brain. This suggests a connection between the heart’s field and subtle energetic fields that contain information from matter remote in space and events that have not yet occurred in present time.

In her book The Heart Speaks, cardiologist Mimi Guarneri refers to a concept attributed to a 1991 book, Neurocardiology, by Dr. J Andrew Armour of the “heart brain.” He says that the heart has an intrinsic nervous system, made of a complex network of neurotransmitters and neurons allowing it to act independently of the cranial brain to learn, remember, sense and feel.

When we work on the energy of the heart, such as when placing tuning forks, or Tibetan bowls on the heart chakra, we are interacting with the torus energy field and with the functions of the heart related to the “heart-brain”.

When we connect our consciousness to our own heart space we gain deep access to our powerful intuitive sense and to the library that contains all the knowledge of the universe. And when we do attunements to the Earth, Moon, Sun and planets, we help to facilitate coherence through resonance with those frequencies. This is true also of the Solar 7th interval, which brings coherence to connect us through the Sun to the rest of the solar system. Acutonics tools help us to create a direct connection with the energies of the planets, and through them to the archetypes of our dreams allowing us to help people to bring their dreams to manifestation.

Heart/Brain Coherence
The heart and the brain have more nerve connections between them than any other systems in the body. According to Armour, 90% of the connecting nerve fibers between the heart and the brain ascend from the heart to the brain. Emotions and feelings arising in the heart have a profound effect on the brain. This influences how we think, process information and perceive the world. When the heart center is activated it becomes an amplifier that jumpstarts the brain, to enhance its activity and create balance and coherence throughout the body.

There are higher emotions (higher frequency) associated with the heart such as, gratitude, abundance, freedom, love and compassion. These heart-centered emotions open the door to the subconscious mind. This process is one of moving into higher frequency, wave-based consciousness, where there is access to greater possibilities and for creating change on the material, particle-based experience of life in 3D reality. This is an alchemical process.

One way we can help facilitate this coherence with Acutonics is by connecting the heart chakra with the 6th and 7th chakras. Hold one fork at the heart, while moving another fork to the higher chakras. This helps to access higher levels of consciousness and brings them to expression through the heart.

Another recommendation is to work with the Yin Wei Mai for access to the heart chakra, and the Du Mai to open and connect with brain consciousness.  This convergence helps to support coherence.

Activating the Three Treasures, (DU 20, REN 4 and REN 17) is another way to bring together the higher frequency heavenly energies and the denser energies of Earth uniting them with the field of the heart. This, again, leads to enhanced potential.

The Cosmic Capstone taught in Level II, also provides a way to connect the head and the heart to higher frequencies in the field.

When we work with the field of the heart we have a portal to the Unified Field of infinite potential. Acutonics provides powerful access to this Source of all possibilities.
