Summer Solstice and the Planetary Harmonics of June

1 Jun, 2018
On May 21st, the Sun moved into the constellation of Gemini, setting the stage for the beginning of summer. During the month of June, we move from the season of spring represented by the Wood Element into the long days of summer represented by the element of Fire. This is a wonderful time to bring the seeds that have sprouted during the spring, into the full daylight of the Sun to carry out the intentions of our newly sprouted dreams.
Summer Solstice and the Planetary Harmonics of June

On May 21st, the Sun moved into the constellation of Gemini, setting the stage for the beginning of summer. During the month of June, we move from the season of spring represented by the Wood Element into the long days of summer represented by the element of Fire. This is a wonderful time to bring the seeds that have sprouted during the spring, into the full daylight of the Sun to carry out the intentions of our newly sprouted dreams.

June is also governed by the brilliant and cheerful sign of Gemini ruled by the planet Mercury. This lively and adaptable planet will infuse the month with an energetic movement that stimulates quick witted and vivacious communication in our lives socially and well as in our cells. These mercurial qualities will help move us out of Springtime to birth our Sun, the central star of our solar system, on Summer Solstice Day; the longest day of the year, marked by the pathway of the sun when it reaches the farthest apex in the Northern Hemisphere on June 21st.  As we move into the long sunny days of summer we can bring our attention to the correspondences of the Fire element through joy, spirit and play along with the planetary correspondences that support the themes for this month.

Planetary Aspects for June
6/5 - Sun and Mercury are conjunct in the constellation of Gemini, which means they are both in the same degree of the same constellation, in the sign that Mercury is most at home in. This aspect gives a boost to both the intellect and communication while supporting a light, carefree and playful attitude. Ohm/Mercury followed by the Solar 7th works well with the Yang Qiao Mai and the Du Mai to assimilate and establish new thoughts and frequency patterns.

6/12 - Mercury moves into Cancer (ruled by the Moon) - This is a time when communications are easily driven by emotions. Use Mercury/New Moon 5th on the Windows to the Sky points to help eloquently release and nurture thoughts, ideas and feelings that are accentuated by this alignment.

6/13 - New Moon in Gemini (ruled by Mercury). This is a Super Moon a good time for making new connections and new communications, also to engage in local commerce. This is a perfect time to work with the Windows of the Sky Points with Mercury/New Moon 5th.

6/14 - Venus moves into Leo (ruled by the Sun) brings the spirit of fun, creative play and childlike enthusiasm to the Yin Wei Mai, Ren Mai, Ren 17, Immortal Child and Heart 7, Spirit Gate also the Source Point on the Heart Channel use Ohm/Venus followed by the Solar 7th.

6/17 - Moon in Leo (ruled by the Sun) - Father’s Day chimes in with a big warm Leo heart infused with the divine spark of the Sun, to create powerful movement of Water and Fire, Yin and Yang and in the Taoist tradition the dynamic alchemy of Kan and Li. This influential combination of Sun and Moon can be enhanced by using the Full Moon 6th on the Ren Mai and the Solar 7th on the Du Mai in a microcosmic orbit installation with the Low, Mid and High frequencies.

6/21 - Sun moves into Cancer (ruled by the Moon) - Summer Solstice Day, the longest day of the year, when the northern hemisphere receives the maximum amount of light for the entire year is balanced by the cool nurturing waters of this lunar constellation.  We are again infused with the alchemy of Kan and Li, Water and Fire, Yin and Yang, the Sun and Moon. Begin Summer with this powerful life generating force by once again using the Full Moon 6th on the Ren Mai and the Solar 7th on the Du Mai in a microcosmic orbit installation with the Low, Mid and High frequencies.

6/21 - Mars and Venus enter into their annual opposition this year on the first day of Summer, again enhancing the Yin and Yang relationship of the microcosmic orbit where we can bring Ohm/Venus to the Ren Mai and Ohm/Mars to the Du Mai; use the Low, Mid and High frequencies followed by Mars/Venus 5th on both the Ren and Du Mai.

6/23 - Mercury and Pluto move into opposition which influences communication to come forth from the depth of hidden, veiled or mysterious realms. Mercury (Hermès according to the Greek) is able to go to and from the underworld unscathed like quicksilver uncovering that which is longing to be released. The frequencies of Mercury and Pluto together create a beautiful microtone wave that can help dislodge old buried patterns that are locked in the blood root through the Chong Mai, followed by both the Ohm/New Moon 5th to open and Ohm/Full Moon 6th to bring into fullness, completion and nurturing light.

6/28 - Full Moon in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) - which can mark a time to complete serious transactions. These two frequencies speak to building and supporting the Kidney Yin and Bones and is a great time to strengthen and nurture the Yin Waters that in turn provides stability and calm that will balance the long and action filled days of summer.
