Sedna, discovered in November of 2003, is a planetary body whose energy and archetypal qualities have been embraced by astrologers, as a unique entity and by Acutonics as an integral part of our applied methodology.
NASA refers to Sedna as a planet-like object, recognizing the fact that it is in an orbit (10,500 years or so) around our Sun. Sometimes called a trans-Neptunian object (located 3x further from the Sun than Neptune), Sedna is also described as a “Great Year Planet” or a “Galactic Celestial Object”. It is called a Great Year Planet because its orbit is slightly less that half of a Great Year (25,770 years +/-.) Sedna’s extreme distance places it as the furthest known planet in the solar system.
Astrologers equate Sedna’s physical location with the furthest limits of our present consciousness, but the potential to access the newest levels of consciousness available and bring these to awareness. Sedna travels through space where the most ancient information and energy in the universe is available and acts to gather the resonance of that information and energy in its field and in its vibration. It includes both the oldest and the newest in the information spectrum. This unique quality makes Sedna a powerful vibrational energy to work with for transformation of consciousness particularly by working with chakras and extraordinary vessels.
Sedna embodies the manifestation of both yin and yang energies simultaneously. Expressing as both particle and wave, she supports both nurturance and expression, creating self-sustaining energy that is limitless in scope and eternal in nature. The association of Sedna with the energy of super conduction and solitons are examples of this self-sustenance. Sedna energy facilitates a shift into non-linear time and the cyclic nature of the unified field. The super conduction energy of Sedna helps to create coherence between the body’s field and the unified field. She provides a portal to limitless possibilities.
We observe Sedna’s influence in different ways depending on our present frequency. At our densest frequency Sedna may manifest as the experience of victimization or victimizing. Sedna moved from being a victim to coming into her own power. In the intermediate frequency level Sedna may be the energy that forces us to become conscious of ourselves as immortal beings. At the level of spirit which is the highest frequency Sedna is the embodiment of the energy of caretaker for humanity but with the provision that we/humanity are caretakers for the planet and all of it inhabitants.
Sedna is a controlling spirit of the waters and helps to access the cellular memory of water. Water is said to contain the memory of all that has transpired on this planet and of its interactions with the rest of the cosmos. Water is the primary element necessary for life on this planet. When we apply the vibrations of Sedna to acupuncture points we are facilitating connection between the water that nurtures our physical bodies and the memories of the planet and all that has come before us. Sedna incorporates the energies of compassion, cooperation, forgiveness and unity that are both timely and timeless.
