Did you ever know that you’re my hero? You’re on a Healer’s Journey and Hero’s Quest at the same time. Most of us have had incredible experiences in our lives that have brought us to walk on this path. And I just wanted to say that I see you, honor you and love you. This August as we move deeper into the season of fire, let us live in love and let us create and nourish lasting connections that kindle our passions and support our soul’s purpose. This is a time to honor the unseen forces that hold us together and to give each other high fives and hugs for being so awesome. With our solar consciousness moving through Leo and into Virgo, the energetic of collaboration and bringing our best to the table is very present. So finding ways to help each other feel supported and connected are a priority as we are being energetically called to show up, act with authority and to succeed.
This month we have a large stellium of our three rocky neighbors Mercury, Venus and Mars moving with the Sun. Beginning with the New Moon of July 31st and culminating with the New Moon of August 30th, these energies will be highly bio-resonant.
July 31st
To prepare for this opportunity and challenge we must conserve and build strength in the early half of August. Supporting the Spleen is one of the more important things we can begin the month doing. The Spleen is responsible for filtering expired and irregular blood cells from our bloodstream. This strikes me as an incredibly powerful concept as it is the meridian just prior to the heart in our system. In a healthy system it ensures that only the best makes it to the plate of the Emperor. If the Pericardium is the guard and receptionist of the Emperor, the Spleen must be Her taster & chef!
During my Clinical Hours practice that I recently completed online with Judy Bernard (which I highly recommend), I was reminded of just how important the Spleen is with regards to our overall carriage and posture. learned that an exhausted system can suffer greatly from what is generically called ‘prolapse’. This is basically when organs intrude upon each other due to the inner environment losing its posture and generally caving in as the organs fall or sink into places they usually don’t occupy.
While looking for some of the best ways to assist the Spleen in regaining composure and helping it to do a better job of filtering out that which no longer serves the heart, the point SP 21, Great Wrapping was brought up during our discussions and treatment planning. First, this a great point to activate for those who are feeling disconnected and sorrowful because it is like a great cosmic hug. As the last point of the channel it is considered to be the great Luo-Connecting point of the Spleen meridian. And it is the precursor to the first point of the heart meridian in the great cycle of energetic flow within the body.
SP 21 is also known as a point between worlds since it is located on the mid-axillary line of the body. It is neither yin nor yang and occupies the space between. The Spleen being an Earth Elemental loves to be nourished with Fire. Early in the month, the Sun will be a great energy to bring to this point for joyful and uplifting energy that will help to re-align the inner cosmos and to nourish and clear the organ that itself nourishes the Heart. Pair Sun with Venus creating a jazzy minor 7th interval for extra sweetness and verve!
At first, locating and accessing the point can be a little tricky. According to the Deadman app SP 21 is located in the 7th intercostal space on the mid-axillary line. In personal assessment, it is easiest to locate by placing hands close beneath breasts and reaching the thumbs back along the ribs until you find that place that hurts. Alternatively, I feel like it’s right at the edge of the lower border of the armpit a whole hand’s width away from HT 1. Working on others I find it easiest to approach when the client is lying face down. This is a great supporting point for working with the Yin Wei Mai as well, so consider also using Sun/Nibiru 3rd on the Yin Wei for clearing and brightening a crowded Heart space. Open P 6 with Nibiru and Balance SP 4 with Sun. Additionally, Sun/Neptune 6th might be utilized to bring nourishing and repairing light in to fill the freshly cleared space.
Supporting and soothing the Heart will be of tantamount importance this coming month. Regardless of the beauty within us and the spiritual revolution we are undergoing collectively, it is terribly taxing to have our leaders around the world continuously under fire for their mistakes and mishandling of their authority. The principle “as above so below” is really always there. So finding ways to energetically distance ourselves from the oversoul of the collective, while maintaining presence and personal power in these times is an enormously difficult task.
I love to bring soothing vibes to HT 7, Spirit Gate. Since this is the Earth point of the channel, I might choose to nourish the Earth with Fire. A gentle way of doing this would be to use the Solar 7th, combining Ohm MF/ Sun1 HF with the Ohm fork upon the point and the Sun HF fork above pointing in.
I recently had great personal success treating my own heaviness of the heart using REN 17, Chest Center, KID 23, Spirit Seal, ST 17, Middle of the Breast, and P 1, Heavenly Pool with the HF Mars/Venus 5th forks. Ultimately the intention is to strengthen the heart. Also, using Mars /New Moon 4th (tritone) in the early part of August to treat stagnation or any issues perceived to be blocking the heart from following its highest will and wisdom will be very beneficial.
August 15th
This need to bring clearing energy to the heart really becomes poignant by the mid-August Full Moon and Venus superior transit of the Sun. This is the time that Venus shifts decisively from Morning Star to Evening and is that time when She can reclaim her Purity through the healing lens of the Sun and Moon. In a way, this is like a Total Eclipse of the Heart. It lasts several days and Venus transforms from the Lion Queen (Leo) to the Vestal Maiden (Virgo) among the tropical zodiac, signifying her reclaiming her virginity and preparing a new cycle of self-determination, healing and self-authority.
This is a great time to ‘cut cords’ and dissolve energetic contracts, and a couple of my favorite forks to do this with over the heart and other constricted body parts are Zodiac HF/Venus HF. Waving these over the points listed above like gardening shears while intending all bonds to be cut and dissolved is a great way to bring a feeling of freedom to the heart.
Again, it is crucial to replace loss with light. So also bring HF Sun/HF Neptune to the same area afterwards to refill vacant spaces. This is incredibly potent as the universe always seeks balance. We want to install light and pure energy into any space that has been recently vacated by muck and dross.
August 30th
By the end of the month during the New Moon of August 30th Mars also transits the Sun moving from a Fallen Warrior in the evening to a Rising Gardener of the morning. At the same time, the stellium of Mercury/Moon/Sun/Mars/Venus activates and comes into its tightest alignment (lasting through the 1st week of September) within Virgo. Having this much energy moving through what I sometimes consider to be the heart-space of the zodiac will be intense. It is important here to remind the masculine archetype that it is just as noble to plant trees (perhaps more so) as it is to fall in battle.
Bring Mars and Chiron together to the Yang Wei Mai to heal and forgive the warrior; allowing the Man to retire his armor and to reconnect with nature by opening SJ 5, Outer Pass with Mars MF and balance GB 41, Near to Tears with Chiron MF.
Finally, this is a powerful time to reclaim innocence and to regain child-mind and child-heart within the scope of our current lifetime on this planet. How can we regain the innocence we’ve lost? Through self-work and self-love certainly!
I’m really feeling an infusion of Mercury MF/Sun HF 7th on the Three Treasures to bring in that youthful joy and energy to the system! For our journey goes on and on, but I believe that we must find a way forward with joy in our hearts to truly transcend the toil of our karma.
Mahalo for being with me on this journey SiStars and BroThors. I am so grateful to know you! We are truly on the leading edge of a wave of goodness that will build and spread with the sound we are bringing into the bodies and souls of ourselves and our communities. Let’s keep bringing our best together in the spirit of true brother- and sisterhood. For it is in our collective ability to bring this sonic blessing forth that we will all rise together!
