Katherine (Katie) Fisher is excited to offer Certified Acutonics Training in Honolulu, Hawaii! through Quantum School of Massage. Levels I and II are Approved for Massage CE.  Katherine offers several short intro classes that can provide new students, bodyworkers and acupuncturists useful training, palpable, immediate benefits from understanding how to work effectively with the Acutonics family of frequencies and access to quality sound healing tools

Covid Pivot!  Katherine's clinic 7 Treasures of Health and Acupuncture, a private acupuncture practice in Honolulu, Hawaii since 2012, morphed into Quantum School of Massage and Holistic Health, a licensed and accredited private DOE school in Honolulu. The school,  with over 20 experienced teachers,l offers year-long programs, clinical training, and grants diplomas in Holistic Massage Therapy, Holistic Health, and Sound Healing. The school specializes in multicultural massage modalities, many forms  and schools of  energy healing, from qi-kung, reiki and healing touch, and plant-based therapies such as flower essences, essential oils, herbal medicine, and homeopathy.

Katie’s journey in acupuncture and healing extends beyond Hawaii. She has professionally contributed to global trauma medicine through Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB), offering support at trauma sites like fire and lava disasters, military accidents, civil wars, and natural disasters. Her work in Nepal, Mongolia, and orphanages in Hawaii reflects her deep commitment to healing trauma. In regions without access to needles, she has supported  Acutonics Tuning Fork trainings, integrating sound and vibrational healing into the hands of local healers to be able to deliver and address trauma treatment in real-time.

Katie’s passion for multicultural healing modalities includes training in Lomi Lomi and Hawaiian Lā‘au Lapa‘au. She also studied Raj Yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine under Baba Hari Dass and Dr. Sharita Shrestha at Mt. Madonna and  Nepal. as well as Tibetan Traditional Medicine through  Men-Tsee-Khang Institute of HH the Dali Lama.

As the founder of the Hawaii Healing Garden Festivals, Katie organized over 21 festivals across the islands, promoting healing practices and preserving knowledge shared by elders and wisdom keepers and served on the advisory boards of both  the Kauai Mayor and Hawaii Governor committees for traditional health.  Her dedication to building community, respecting cultural roots, and empowering future generations is a cornerstone of her work.

Her deep interest in sound and vibrational healing began before she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She has collaborated with the founders of Acutonics®, Donna and Ellen, and other senior teachers at sound healing conferences in Hawaii, California, and New Mexico. Acutonics integrates the use of tuning forks on acupuncture points, combining frequency healing with traditional practices like herbal medicine and medical astrology.

Katie is also a certified teacher of Acutonics, She has conducted Sound Healing workshops, concerts  and retreats in Germany, Spain, Dubai, Sri Lanka, India, California, and Hawaii. When the pandemic hit in 2020, she transitioned to online teaching, continuing to offer valuable sound healing education globally.

In March of 2020  due to covid restrictions, like many others, Katherine was faced with the closed the locations of her clinic, the sound school, yoga and martial arts dojo for many months. During this time of reflection, and professional pivot, Katie and her husband, Steve McLaughlin,  a fellow acupuncturist and Professor of Martial Arts  purchased the Quantum School of Massage and Holistic Health. They have since integrated sound healing tools such as tuning forks, chimes, and Tibetan and crystal bowls into the curriculum. 

Katie has witnessed firsthand how vibrational healing can transform health, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. Her workshops emphasize community support, connection, and empowerment.

Katie’s ultimate goal is to ensure that new practitioners receive high-quality training with integrity and the best tools available. Becoming a certified Acutonics teacher was a journey of many years, and she is now passionate about mentoring others to help them discover their unique gifts and abilities as sound healers. As a teacher, she delights in sharing the intuitive practice of Asian and multicultural medicine and the future of vibrational medicine and healing
