Planetary Bodies I: Astrological Symbolism, Correspondences, and Healing Applications
This class is the first in a series dedicated to reviving the ancient sciences and mystery traditions, and rediscovering an authentic alchemy of healing and esoteric symbolism. It explores the literal and metaphoric language of the planets, asteroids, signs and houses, and the meaning of the horoscope and its interpretation from a medical astrological perspective.
Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of astrology, including the archetypes and correspondences and their relationship to various medical conditions. We will explore astrological symbols and planetary alignment in individual charts while learning to harmonize and realign potential imbalances using the Acutonics Healing System.
No formal astrological training required, however, it is suggested that students familiarize themselves with basic astrological symbolism prior to enrollment, and may contact the teacher for recommended texts. Students are likewise encouraged to provide MichelAngelo with birth data (month/day/year, as accurate as possible) for use in classroom discussion and demonstrations.
